Day Twenty Two Grateful Blogging February

How are things in your part of the world today?  It is cold here but the sun is out and although the sky isn't clear blue it isn't that menacing dark grey either so that is good.

Today I have a few things to be grateful for.

Dinner.  We are having shepherds pie which I have made and is ready to heat up for dinner.  I am looking forward to that and to the fact that all we have to do later on is turn on the oven and all of the cooking is already done.

Reading.  I have finished the Downton Abbey book that I was reading, it wasn't really a difficult read but it took me ages for some reason so I am glad that it is finished and that I enjoyed it.  I will write a little more about it in a book round up post next month perhaps.

Hubby.  I am so grateful for him.  For all that he is and does and for who he is.  I am more grateful for him that anything else.

  1. A good husband is such a blessing! I always like thinking that supper is made and at the ready. And Shepherd’s Pie...yum...a favorite here, too.

  7. I'm glad for a loving and supporting husband too. The skies were actually blue today so I'm thankful for that and the sunshine - brief as it may be!
