Crocheting for Christmas

Another of my Christmas Crochet Scarf posts!

Today are two scarves that were made for friends of mine.  They are both long standing treasured friends and I thought they deserved a little something.  I am rather nervous about giving these two people these scarves, but I hope they will like them!

This scarf is made using one ball of Stylecraft Head Over Heels sock yarn in the Kilimanjaro colour.  Working alternate rows of DTR and DTR, ch1.

This scarf is made using Stylecraft Special DK in the Boysenberry colour.  You can find my tutorial for adding a fringe here.

The scarves are folded double to make them easy to fit in the photos, so these are longer than they might appear.

That is all for todays show and tell, but I have more to come!

  19. Amy, I just saw your most recent post and want to say how sorry I am to see you closing down this blog. I do hope the Ravelry store will stay open as I hope to buy a couple more of your patterns in future. I'm sorry you are not leaving the blog up, as I still haven't made it through all your posts. I will find you on IG and follow you there, though. Thanks for letting us know you and your family are all ok; I would have wondered and been concerned. I first came here thanks to Selma of Eclectic Home & Life and am so glad I did! I think I've told you, but I bought the Meg shawl pattern and found a local supplier of the exact yarn. I am making it to wear to a friend's wedding next May. I haven't posted about that yet, but will let you know more soon. IN the meantimme, much Love and Light to you and your family. I wish you all the best with whatever you choose to do next. ~ Linne (Selma has my email address if you would like to have it)
