First Time Easy Scarf

You know how sometimes things just get put on the back burner, you mean to do them and yet they never get finished.  Well, talking to you about this scarf, and indeed the making of it has been one of those things.

For years I have been crocheting now and hadn't made anything for my dear husband.  Poor fellow.  Then I won a ball of Stylecraft Life DK in a giveaway - sorry, I am afraid that I cannot remember who it was from now! - and because it was just one ball, I had to find something that I could do with just one ball of yarn.

Well you know that I am not one to shy away from creating my own patterns, so I got creating and made a very easy scarf that I thought would actually be ideal for a beginner, someone who knew how to crochet the basic stitches, and had moved on to want to do something easy, but with a bit more interest.

So it all came together to make the First Time Easy Scarf.  The pattern has actually been available since last year sometime, but I have only just got round to announcing it and sharing it with you properly.

First of all, the important bit is some photos!

Sorry, just a few photos then!

Anyway, the good news is that the pattern is available in my Ravelry Shop and you can purchase it now by using the button below.

I hope that you will enjoy it and that you will find it easy to make, it is great because it does just use that one ball of Stylecraft yarn, which is great if you have an odd one left or want to make something small, quick and easy, perhaps for a small gift for someone - in these sorts of colours I thought it might make a good male teacher gift for Christmas or something like that.

So, better late than never, my husband has a scarf, I used that odd ball of yarn, and I got to share the pattern with you.  That has to be a winner all round doesn't it!

To purchase the pattern, click this button which will take you to Ravelry.  Price is £2.00  plus VAT or other sales taxes as applicable.
