For the final time this week we go round the garden once again. Penstemons feature again along with some other lovelies!
Thank you Ellie for the confirmation yesterday that the mystery plant is a phygelius. As soon as I read your comment I remembered what it was called. Silly isn't it how we can forget plant names!
Straight into the penstemons! So so so pretty!
These aren't tiny - or large! - apples although they look a bit like them - they are berries on the Rowan Tree which, as you can see, are starting to turn red already. How can that be!
The hostas are doing really well. There are some holes here and then, but not too many at all, especially considering that we haven't taken any anti slug measures other than a very healthy mulch of shredded bark.
I love this huchera, the colours are gorgeous, if there was space I would have more of these.
The rain has prevented the geraniums from flowering much, but the leaves are beautiful colours. I choose the ones with pretty leaves as even if they don't flower you still have something pretty to look at.
The day lilies haven't done much this year so far apart from this plant. Lots of leaves, not many flowers. I think it might be that they need dividing.
A last little lavender to leave you with!
Thank you for coming around the garden with me. It has been a delight to share it with you!
