Having A Day

We have a saying in our household.  Have A Day.

It is an acknowledgement that it might not be the greatest of days, the best day, the most fun exciting day ever.  However, if it isn't bad, if nothing terrible happens that is OK.  It is just A Day.

Today I have been Having A Day and that is fine with me!

Just thought I would wish you A Day!

  1. I think it's lovely to have A Day. With the hustle and bustle of life today, it isn't often that we can take any time so enjoy.

  2. I have also been 'having a day' as you say. Three in a row actually. Boy oh boy, the weather has not been kind. Soon it will change, there will be more enjoyable days. Enjoy your 'day', as it is.

  16. Hey Amy,
I sometimes remark that I'm having a day of it, which is kind of similar; not bad, not brilliant, just a day of it.

  25. Being the rebel child that I am, I usually bristle when someone says, "Have a nice day." It always seems they are telling me I have to do something. I know that is not the case, however. What I like to say is, "I hope you have a nice day." Just seems a bit friendlier to me. I did not get up on the wrong side of the bed, and my day was splendid! Life is good!

  29. I love ordinary days and sometimes just long for a day at home when we don't have to rush here and there. Is it possible to have 'a weekend' too?! Have a good one anyway. xx

  30. I love "having a day". Not every day has to be special or interesting or wonderful. Would a day still be special if everyday had something special in it?
