Sampling

Instead of just playing around and making things for myself I am trying to get more of my designer brain working and thinking not just about the things that I like, but what others might like, what is practical for someone to make.  What is possible for me to describe to someone else too!

So sampling is the order of the day.  So far I have a few things in the works, one of which - well a series really - I am so excited about.

I cannot show you what I have actually come up with yet, but I thought it might be interesting for you to see some of the "also rans".  These may yet be taken further, we will have to see.  They might end up in the bin though...

A couple that are progressing further are these two!

When the patterns are ready I will of course let you know, but it might be a little while yet!

I will get back to playing with my hook and yarn!  Once I get the printer back online again - grrr!!

  11. Ooh, they are lovely, especially the purple one you are still working on (with pins). I must live in brain fog, as I wouldn't know where or how to start designing something. Look forward to seeing more. Take care.

  15. Hi Amy! I'm not surprised at you making these lovely patterns. The last one is so pretty and the yarn looks so light and delicate! I'm not very good at making stuff up. I have to have a pattern! ;) Thanks for popping in to see me.

  20. I did some basic chain stitches at Night Owls, then I think I turned it and did a long row of doubles I think they were! One day I'll be able to make pretty lacy flowers.........
