A gifty giveaway

This giveaway is now closed.  Thank you to everyone who entered.  The winner will be announced in a blog post on 4th January 2016.

I wanted to say thank you to all of you who follow and read and comment on my blog.  To those who join in my madcap hairbrained schemes of card swaps and Five On Friday.  To those who support me and share with me and have become a big part of my life.

Thank you!!!  All!!!  For everything!!!

To say thank you I have a little gifty giveaway related to one of my other non blogging passions that, from your comments, you enjoy just as much as I do.

If you would like to enter to win a selection of goodies, just leave a comment on this post.  If you are a follower that would be lovely, but you don't have to be.

Entries will close at midnight UK time on 23rd December 2015 and I will draw a name from my giant teacup and announce the winner on Monday 4th January 2016 .  Then the goodies will be winging their way to you as an after Christmas, New Year cheer up.

What are these goodies I hear you ask!  Good question indeed.

A selection of things from and about Basildon Park.  A guide book, a 1950's kitchen cookbook, a bookmark, thimble, notebook, tea towel and a card.  All bought and paid for by me I should add, Basildon Park aren't part of this, I just wanted to share part of it with you.  You are all kind enough to say that you enjoy my posts about it, so I thought you might like to share a little piece of it!

These photos are, I am afraid to say, not the best, but the things are lovely in real life!  Promise!

If you are interested leave me a comment before the closing time and make sure that there is a way for me to get in touch with you.  If the winner doesn't respond after one week I will draw again.

Thank you all again, and Happy Christmas and New Year!

Amy

  3. I love to read with interest your posts about Basildon Park as I like to visit National Trust houses. I hope to visit Basildon Park someday and would love the chance to win the goodies. Merry Christmas to you.

  4. Oh, please enter me for this draw - what a lovely idea! I would love anything but most of all the Basildon guide book, knowing as you do my love of historic houses (and having read the novel based on Basildon, the title of which escapes me). I can't be a 'follower' I don't think, Amy, as I don't 'do' Facebook or any of the social network sites; I only read blogs and comment, and write emails to friends. I always enjoy your blog posts.

  10. I would love to win your give away Amy. It would be so interesting to try recipes from the old cookbook. I've got an old Stork margarine cookbook that was my moms from 1948. I still make some recipes from it. Ooh, a giant teacup sounds perfect to pick the winner from. I'm a follower and I'll even be participating in Five on Friday on time this week :) I can be reached at crafty dot gardener at yahoo dot ca Thanks for having a lovely give away.

  16. What a lovely giveaway. The 1950's cookbook takes me back as that covers my childhood. I still have an old Womens Weekly (AUS) cookbook from the year I was born (1949)ugh!. I actually still use a couple of the recipes. Don't count me in, (though I'd love it, being a National Trust geek), as I live in Oz and that's not fair on you. Enjoy the weekend and take care.

  18. This is such a generous giveaway Amy, and I'd love to be entered in the draw. The 1950s cookbook brings back memories of the sort of cookbooks various members of the family had when I was a child.

  30. Giant teacup... that was hysterical :-P I too own a giant teacup. Although my "tea" is more sugar and milk. The tea bag is just put in so the sugar and milk mixture has a lovely color to it *wink*
