Peace?

I don't know what to say, I don't have the words.  Although I don't suppose that you do either.  The events of Friday in Paris were so tragic.

My thoughts and prayers are sent for the hopes of peace.  For the hope of somehow some comfort for those who have lost loved ones or been injured.

What else can we do.

Can such a thing happen.

Where do we go from here.

I wish that I knew what to say or do.

Amy

  2. I fear for how things will be for my children's generation. I feel utterly sad there is so much evil and hatred, but I feel comforted by the fact that there is a HUGE amount of goodness too to rival it. In horrid times, we all come together to prove to those who wish to rain terror, that there is still so much good in people. No one wants war, anywhere, of any type, but it's such a complex issue, that I don't really know what the answer is.

  3. I don't know what to say either, Amy, but you write sincerely, and from the heart. That is all we can do. So sad; I keep watching the news, trying to make sense of it.

  4. What happened on Friday is horrific and my heart goes out to those affected by this awful event. I cannot even begin to imagine the sorrow. But I also pray this does not lead to more hatred, racism and deaths and we do not not forget those people of all faiths, all colours from all over the world who are also suffering.

  8. We really can't do anything beyond prayer support and not give up, or give in to the violence. They will not win...they will not take away our right for a peaceful life. How can people be so full of hate that they are willing to kill innocent people.... Spread love and carry on....that's what I'm going to do.

  9. Hope, freedom, tolerance, compassion, love – we have to believe the balance will never be tipped in hatred's favour. X

  11. The events that keep going on in our world just continue to break my heart! I keep praying like crazy. I really believe in the power of that and what it can do. I think there isn't enough of that in the world, which doesn't help.

I think we need to continue to have faith in humanity. That the good will ALWAYS power over the bad! There is so much more good in the world...we just don't hear about it due to the media. I think we need to keep putting good out in the world. We need to live our lives with joy and not live in fear - otherwise the bad wins.

Blessings to you and prayers sent out for love, peace and joy in the world! xo
