  2. Wow, that brings back lots of memories from our trip down to Cornwall last year. We also noticed the many turbines plus a solar farm. Thanks and hope it was good break. Take care.

  5. we have windmills in PA and I think they do look nice however, I don't know how I would feel if they were on my land or near it. Have fun!!

  7. Hello, so pleased to see the shot of the common gorse bushes - they surely are peculiar to the U.K. and oddly I find I miss seeing them now that I live away.

  9. Sadly, I do not find these beautiful, and also, I recall seeing a piece on TV not that long ago that when the wind is too strong, they have to be switched off.
    We should have been investing in wave power - we have two tides each day, it's regular as clockwork. Margaret P

  11. I've been surprised at how many wind turbines I've seen when in the UK, especially in Scotland. They aren't as common here in Canada.

  18. They are becoming more common here in Canada, although solar panels seem to be even more popular.

  20. Oh I love the idea of renewable energy, I really do, but I am not sure I like wind turbines especially in areas of outstanding beauty. But lovely pictures and they are important xx
