Sunlit Sunday

During the first three months of the year, Karen runs a lovely meme called Sunlit Sunday, thinking about all things sunny at the darkest time of year in the northern hemisphere and the brightest time in the southern half of the world.

Just a couple of sunny moments captured during the last week...

A bit of blue sky and some puffy white clouds.  It was so lovely to see, especially as there seems to have been a lot of grey and wet around here this week.  It is bright and sunny again this morning though, so we are enjoying the sunny moments.

I have this vase sitting on the windowsill in my office and when I was working earlier in the week I noticed the sun shining through and how pretty it looked and just had to take a quick picture.  It is amazing how the simple things can be so lovely isn't it!

I hope that everyone is having a sunny Sunday and can find some sunshine in their life.

Joining Sunlit Sunday.  Go and have a look at everyones posts.

  28. You are so right, Amy, the simplest things can be the loveliest. I've lived in my home for many years and still love how the winter light turns my living room walls a glowing golden colour in the afternoon! Thank you for bringing the blue sky and twinkling vase this week.

Your friends who mentioned they liked the idea of our little gathering are certainly welcome to join us.
