On a cold and frosty morning...

On Saturday we awoke to find there had been a very heavy frost and the sun was out so everything that had been touched by the frost looked all sparkly and glittery.  Of course my blogger tendencies came out and it was necessary to get some pictures of the glittery frost to share with you!  I am still enjoying playing around with my camera and I really liked these shots.  I hope that you do too.

The lines on the one above are the elements in the back window of my car for the electric window warmer thingy (I know, it has a name, but for the life of me I can't remember it!)

I wish that there had been some frost on my tree and other things by the front door, but the porch overhead had protected them.  I think that the entrance to our home still looks pretty though!

  12. Your front door looks very lovely. It is very hard to capture something like frost in a photo, as it never quite looks the same as it does in person......kind of like fall leaves. Fun.

Please send some of your cold temperatures to Belgium ;-)... We're having nothing but rain, and 8 - 10 °C. Not really weather to get into the christmas spirit...

  25. Oh your entrance looks SO pretty! What a welcome for visitors! I'm always a little bit jealous of frosty gardens I see in Country Living etc, we rarely have frost here, sometimes we see some on holidays. And not at Christmas time, of course! Hope you are having fun with your new camera!
