O Christmas Tree

The season is really upon us now and it seems only appropriate to share pictures of the Christmas tree and decorations and so on, after all it is only a few days now until Christmas Day!

I have been trying to get some good pictures of the decorations and Christmas tree, but this year I seem to have failed to get what I wanted.  It has been too dark and grey whenever I have had chance to take some photos, and despite playing around with the lights and the camera flash it didn't really help.

Of course this has meant that I am rather disappointed, but instead of being down, I took the opportunity to play around with some effects both when taking and after taking my pictures instead.  Here is this years (rather blurry!) selection of pictures!

If the sun should come out in the next two days I will have another go, but as I am still sat here with the lights on...

The good news it that I really am not going shopping any more before Christmas!  The food is all bought, presents bought and wrapped - except for the last minute presents that I bought (don't tell hubby, the are for him!).  There are still approximately 100,000,000 things left to be done, but we are all in that boat right now aren't we.

I will sit back and enjoy the decorations - because thankfully they are not this blurry in real life and get on with the rest of the preparations.  I hope that you will be enjoying the last couple of days to Christmas and the big day itself of course.

Happy Christmas!

Amy
