Advent Three

Today is the Third Sunday of Advent.

This week I have been reflecting about events around the world, those who are suffering and those who need our care, love, support and wise counsel.  I am also thinking of those who provide these services to those in need both at home and overseas, they are amazing people and deserve our thanks and support and love.

I wrote in a comment to someone in the last week that candles are a wonderful thing and bring light into the darkness.  There are so many people in the world who bring light into the darkness by their kind and good works and deeds.

It is my dearest hope that we can all bring a little light at this time of year.

  7. Hi Amy, on this 3rd Advent, your words are wise and inspirational. People have the power to spread a little sunshine on those otherwise sad and dark days of others. It really doesn't take much, does it, apart from a warm smile and kind heart.

Happy Sunday, to you, my friend!

    xx

  8. Our world certainly could use a little more light, not just at Christmas, but all through the year.

  9. It's certainly a time to count our blessings and think of those less fortunate than ourselves. You're right, there's many people who bring light in to the lives of others and they should be truly appreciated.
