Featuring colour - Purple

Last year I started some posts featuring different things in all colours of the rainbow and I had plans for a series of posts focussing on different colours.  Sadly it fell by the wayside somewhere along the line.  It seems like a good time to revive it though as we are coming into such a colourful time of the year.

Today I therefore share with you a view of plants, flowers and floral inspiration in Purple(ish)!

Red and Yellow and Pink and Green, Purple and Orange and Blue I can sing a rainbow true.

  19. Beautiful photos Amy. I love purples and mauves and pinks in my gardens. And. I'm wearing a purple hoodie today. :) I just saw on the TV that purple and mauve are good colours for a bedroom to promote a restful sleep. I might have to paint and buy new bedding! :)

  23. Hey Amy,
This post is really interesting, because the garden that I now manage (ahem) has come with strict instructions with regard to colour. There are only to be white, blue and purple flowers. So seeing your photos has given me some idea for what to put in it.
