Silent saturday around the garden

Not silent, but pretty quiet for me!

In the dry

And then in the rain!

No, not a random twig.  This is a colchicum, or autumn crocus.  I thought I had lost these so I am really pleased to see them coming back.

I will leave the windmill for a little longer...

  3. I love those photos of your rain soaked garden with the water droplets on the leaves. We've had gorgeous weather today but tomorrow the forecast says high winds and lots of rain, so we'll skip going to the car boot sale and hide indoors I think! x

    1. Yes, they are forecasting horrid weather for tomorrow! I think that it is going to be a stay indoors kind of day for sure. Keep dry and carry on...

    1. Thank you ladybird. I do have a bit of a thing for windmills, but I am trying to cut down, so I only have one this year! Thanks for your visit here.

  7. What a beautiful garden Amy! I so wish mine was a little bit more enjoyable. The heat this year was terrible upon anything I tried to grow. Nothing really wanted to bloom , just a lot of greenery!
    Enjoy your space...it's gorgeous!

    1. We have some very large trees at the end of our garden and they suck out a lot of moisture and light so I know what you mean about it being hard to get things to grow. We love the trees though - and they always grow! Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again.

    1. I know, there is just something about water isn't there. It can be tricky to get, but when you do it is great!
